Donations

For the 2022-2023 administrative year the Kiwanis Club of Columbine donated $35,237 to local schools and community organizations.

Some of the organizations that our club donated funds to:

Dutch Creek Elementary School – Our Club made a donation of $1000 to Dutch Creek Elementary
Columbine Hills and Normandy Elementary Schools – Our Club made a donation of $1000 to Columbine Hills and Normandy Elementary schools.
Leawood Elementary School – Our Club made a donation of $1000 to Leawood Elementary
Ken Caryl Middle School Outdoor Lab Scholarships – Our Club donated $2000 to insure that every 6th Grade student will be able to attend week-long Jeffco Outdoor Lab STEM program.
Outdoor Lab Foundation was founded in 2003. Our mission is to inspire community support for, and advocate on behalf of, Jeffco Schools Outdoor Lab Program. Our Club previously donated $240 from the proceeds of a raffle.

Sharing with Sheridan Food Pantry is located at the Sheridan Recreation Center in Sheridan, CO, and acquire most of their food through donations and local food banks including Food Bank of the Rockies and FERN.
Nourish Meals On Wheels – Serves meals to the Southwest, South, and Southeast Denver Metro Area
CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to advocate for children’s best interests. They stay with each case until it is closed and the child is in a safe, permanent home. child. 
Boys and Girls Club Jeffco
PorchLight Family Justice Center (FJC) provides comprehensive legal, emotional and critical supportive services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, abuse of at-risk individuals, elder abuse, and human trafficking.
The Action Center’s mission is to provide an immediate and compassionate response to those in our community experiencing hardship and by offering the resources and services needed to stabilize lives and promote pathways to lasting change.
